We are seeing more and more of this conditioning of our people to rely on government help and bail outs in the midst of this thoroughly and carefully planned pandemic. In some ways it is almost natural. If one lost their job and even has the double whammy of not being able to get on unemployment, what are they to do? But the problem is twofold. First, indeed all of this new money floating around and offered by a government over $20 trillion in debt that is overseeing an economy in depression is an illusionist aid. Yes, it spends. But at what cost? Indeed inflation is one cost. We are already seeing that with some meat shortages. But the reality is nothing in this world is ever free that is offered by man. The only thing that was is salvation through Jesus Christ and it was hardly free for Him. I am always reminded of 2 Kings 18 when Rabshakeh the Assyrian King's representative said "Don't believe your king, Hezekiah. And don't think your God is going to get you out of this. Just accept your slavery and captivity at our hands and you will be fine. All too often there is a limit and conditions to man's supposed generosity. In the present it is the loss of our freedoms and our self worth in not being able to be providers and bread winners. In the near future the cost may be your very soul when Antichrist stands offering to pay your way and take care of you if you will only worship him. Choose wisely and watch diligently.
